Day 165: The Artist’s Way 🎨
What's your relationship with creativity?
For years, I’ve heard The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron mentioned on podcasts and in interviews.
This week, I finally decided to dive in and start the journey myself.
For those unfamiliar, the book was first published in the early 90s and offers a 12-week course designed to help you reconnect with your creative self.
As Cameron explains, creativity is inherent in all of us, and the course teaches you to get out of your own way and let it flow through you.
She writes, “If you think of the universe as a vast electrical sea in which you are immersed and from which you are formed, opening to your creativity changes you from something bobbing in that sea to a more fully functioning, more conscious, more cooperative part of that ecosystem.”
In the coming months, I’ll share prompts inspired by the book. If you’re interested in joining me, I encourage you to get a copy and follow along!
To kick things off, here’s today’s prompt:
