Day 178: Protecting your peace ☮️

Are you doing enough to "protect your peace"?

This week, I've been reflecting on the idea of protecting my peace. I've put a lot of effort into crafting a morning routine that gets me humming: journaling, morning pages, meditation, and a workout.

I’m coming to understand that I owe it to myself to safeguard the sense of alignment I establish each morning.

Take this recent example: I attended a game night even though I was exhausted and felt like saying no. I ignored my intuition and pushed myself to go. Although I enjoyed the evening, I returned home feeling even more drained, and the next day felt completely off.

From this, I realized I could have done a better job of protecting my peace.
