Day 224: Radical acceptance 🪷

What can you accept about this moment as it is?

After taking a break from non-fiction to dive into some gripping crime thrillers (Harriet Tyce is a favorite), I’m coming back with fresh energy and focus.

This week, I’ve chosen Radical Acceptance by Tara Brach. It’s a book that invites us to embrace life exactly as it unfolds, without resistance or judgment.

One line that deeply resonates:

"What would it be like if I could accept life—accept this moment—exactly as it is?"

This question feels like an open doorway to peace, inviting us to release the tension of "should" and step fully into the reality of now.

Journal Prompt

Pause and sink into this moment. Be still and notice your surroundings, thoughts, and sensations. What can you accept about this moment as it is?

How does it feel—emotionally, physically, mentally—to embrace the present without trying to change it? Write about what arises when you allow yourself to simply be.

Happy journaling,

Kelsey
