Day 58: Enter, your inner child 🧒

Transform today's tasks into adventures by viewing them through your 5-year-old self's imaginative lens.

Hey, friend.

Creativity isn't something we need to learn—it's something we need to remember.

Research by Dr. George Land and Beth Jarman shows that 4-5-year-olds score an astounding 98% on the "Creativity Genius" scale.

What does this mean?

We’re naturally creative. And to access it, we simply need to reconnect with our inner child. But how do we reconnect with our inner child?

By shifting our perspective to view the world through the eyes of our younger, uninhibited selves. And when we do this, we can tap into the wellspring of creativity that exists within all of us.

Let’s go to the prompt:

Journal Prompt

Write down 3-5 routine tasks you need to complete today. Now, step into the mindset of your 5-year-old self. How would your younger self perceive these tasks? What imaginative twists or playful approaches might they use to transform these mundane activities into adventures or games?

Happy journaling,

Kelsey
