What new tradition could you bring to your favorite holiday?

Hey there,

Happy 4th to our American journalers (I know there’s quite a lot of you!).

Whenever I think of holidays, I think about the traditions. 

Especially for the 4th, I love the classic American trio: ooh-ing and ahh-ing at fireworks, torching perfectly good meat, and waving around mini fire hazards (i.e. sparklers). 

It's like we're all secretly pyromaniacs, but just for one day.

And the beauty of holidays is that you have the option to switch things up. Which can feel good, especially if we’ve grown tired of doing the same things over and over.
