Reflect on your favorite book from childhood. What made it special to you?

Hola!

I just finished a ~24-hour travel day from Cape Town back to the States. During the flight, I watched a documentary about the show, Reading Rainbow.

Besides getting the theme song stuck in my head for 5 hours ("Butterfly in the sky..."), hearing about their mission to make reading fun for kids was so sweet and pure. 

This nostalgia trip got me thinking: wouldn't taking a literary stroll down memory lane be fun?
