Dinner party đ˝ď¸
Whatâs a rehearsed story youâve told about yourself thatâs no longer true?
In his book The Power of Ritual, Ter Kuile highlights that one of the most powerful ways to foster community is by bringing people together to eat.
He points to The Dinner Party, an initiative founded by Lennon Flowers, who sought to connect with others navigating life after loss following her mother's passing.
At these dinners, no subject is off-limits.
Lennon explains, âWe have so many rehearsed stories about who we areâŚand the true story that we told about ourselves six months ago may no longer be true today.â
Sharing an intentional meal with friends can help us reconnect with our narratives, reflect on the words we share, and uncover whatâs truly happening within us in the present moment.
