Future vision đď¸
What future moment do you hope to experience?
One of the key takeaways from Viktor Franklâs Manâs Search for Meaning is that prisoners who held onto a vision of the future beyond the camps had a greater chance of survival.
For some, that meant reuniting with loved ones or finishing a project. For Frankl, it was publishing the book he had begun before his imprisonment.
At one point, he helped fellow prisoners find meaning by reminding them that life was still expecting something from themâthat they had a future calling.
And above all, he realized the importance of emphasizing that each of us has a unique purpose to fulfill.
No one is replaceable, and no life can be repeated.
