What would make today wonderful?
Putting a pause on Nonviolent Communication prompts (weāll pick back up tomorrow), because I wanted to share something I did yesterday.
I had a Coke.
Not just any CokeāCoca-Cola, full sugar (none of that diet crap).
Iād been craving a Coke for weeks, but with marathon training, I kept telling myself it was ābadā to indulge.
Then yesterday, I decided to just go for it. I treated myself to that Coke, and guess what? I felt amazing. I enjoyed it guilt-free, and carried on having a healthy dinner without going off the rails.
It was such a great reminder that weāre human, not machines. Treating ourselves here and there doesnāt ruin usāit reminds us to savor lifeās little joys.
Because sometimes, one small thing like a sugar-filled Coke can transform a good day into a wonderful one.
