In awe 😮
Write about a time you felt in awe, humbled by something bigger than yourself.
In her book, Dr. Smith says that while meditation can help us get some distance from our thoughts and emotions, there is another experience that has a similar effect.
Being in awe.
No doubt you’ve felt this before.
Maybe it was staring up at the night sky, lost in the vastness of the universe.
For me, it was the spiritual awakening of seeing Beyoncé on tour.
Awe is the mind-expanding moment of being faced with something vast beyond our current understanding of things.
It’s also a shortcut to stepping back from life's daily chaos. Feeling small in the best way, so you can see what truly matters.
Journal Prompt
Write about a time when you were in awe and had the something-bigger-than-me feeling. What was that experience like? What did you take away from it?
Happy journaling,
Kelsey
