Invested đď¸
If you started fresh today, would you still choose what youâre holding ontoâor is it just the investment keeping you there?
Aside from the cute Pi Kapp guy I never worked up the courage to talk to, the only thing I remember from Econ 101 is the sunk cost fallacy.
Daniel Kahneman revisits it in Thinking, Fast and Slow, explaining how we cling to past investmentsâmoney, time, effortâeven when they no longer serve us.
We mistake walking away for failure when, in reality, itâs freedom.
Sometimes, the best move isnât pushing forward.
Itâs letting go.
Journal Prompt
What are you holding onto just because youâve already invested in it? If you started fresh today, would you still choose it? What might open up if you let go?
Happy journaling,
Kelsey
