When I was little, I couldn’t wait to grow up. And now that I’m here? I miss being a kid at times.

The truth is, your inner child never really left.

They’re still with you. Curious, wild-hearted, full of wonder.

When I first heard of doing “inner child work” to reconnect with that part of myself, I was skeptical.

But then I realized it was just a quiet act of care — a chance to offer yourself now what you may have needed then: safety, encouragement, attention, and play.

So today, let that younger you take the lead.
