Rodeo ðŸ¤
What are you curious about and want to explore more of?
Yesterday, I went to my first rodeo.
Growing up in Tucson, the rodeo came to town every year, and we even got two days off school to attend. But like most families, we usually skipped town and headed to California.
I’d always been curious about it, and this year, I happened to be in town at the right time. So my partner, best friend, and I decided to finally go.
We had no idea what to expect.
And it was incredible.
Watching the cowboys wrangle bulls and hang on to bucking broncos like crash test dummies was unreal to see in person.
The food was amazing. The people were warm and welcoming. And I fully embraced my new identity as Cowgirl Kels…and I think it’s here to stay.
Exploring this side of the city where I grew up made me realize: this has been in my backyard all along, just waiting for me to experience it.
