Values check-in đ§
Choose a value, set a goal, and outline daily actions that reflect it.
For our final prompt inspired by Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before?, weâre diving into values.
And just to clarify, values are not the same as goals.
A goal is a specific, measurable target you work toward, and once you reach it, itâs complete.
A value, on the other hand, is a guiding principleâan idea about how you want to live and the kind of person you want to be.
âIf life was one complete journey, then a value would be the path you choose to follow.â
Values change as we experience life, so itâs worth pausing to check in with yourself. What values define the person you are today?
For todayâs prompt, pick one of the values from this list that feels important to you.

Journal Prompt
Based on the value you selected, write one goal that aligns with it. Then, describe the daily actions that would reflect this value in your life.
For example, if you choose âconnection,â a goal might be to visit family three times a year. On a day-to-day level, connection could look like remembering birthdays, writing thoughtful notes to friends, or offering a listening ear.
Happy journaling,
Kelsey
